2018 Holiday Gift Guide: For The Man

To kick off this year’s gift guides I am starting with the men in your life — be that husband, boyfriend, brother, dad, or any other man, there is something here for everyone.

I find buying for the men in my life particularly challenging – I’m talking to you Bryan.

1. Boss QuietComfort 235 Wireless Headphones: These are quite pricy and would be a very extravagant gift but totally worth it when it comes to sound quality and the noise cancelling ability.  These are stellar headphones and a great gift for anyone, especially someone who travels or is on planes/trains.
2. Travis Mathew Sainz Hoodie: Truly anything from Travis Mathew will make the man you are buying for very happy.  There are amazing shorts, golf shirts, hats and more from this brand and your man is sure to love anything.  I am a big fan of this hoodie, and while still a little pricey, the quality is amazing!
3. Contigo SnapSeal Byron Travel Coffee Mug: This is the BEST coffee mug and a great gift or stocking stuffer.  Bryan and I both have these and they keep our coffee warm all day, they DO NOT leak (as long as you have the lid on tight) and they are the perfect size.
4. Insteon Smart Lamp + Hub Starter Kit: I love this idea to start building a smart home especially if you have an Alexa or Google Home device.  This is a great way to get your man started on being able to the control lights, thermostat and more with his voice.
5. StitchFix Membership: Bryan has been doing StitchFix for several months now and has received some amazing pieces of clothing – particularly stuff we wouldn’t normally pick out.  Give the men in your life a one or three month membership to try out. This is a great way to help them build out their wardrobe.
6. Roll-Top Folding Camp Table: This is perfect for a fisher, camper or tailgater.  This table rolls up for easy packing and is great for any outdoor event/adventure.
7. The Art of Shaving travel kit: I bought Bryan this set a few years ago and now this is all he uses for shaving.  The Sandalwood scent is the best (my favorite) and makes for an amazing and comfortable shave.  This is a great stocking stuffer or you can buy the full sized products for a great pampering gift for you man.
8. Victorinox Altmont Professional Fliptop Laptop Backpack: Perfect for anyone looking for a stylish travel, workbag that fits a laptop, charges, tablets and more.  This has amazing reviews and might be on Bryan’s list this year.
9. Eddie Bauer Cirruslite Down Jacket: Such a great coat that is light but extremely warm.  Eddie Bauer does an amazing job with their down jackets and this make a really nice gift for anyone.
10. Nordstrom Men’s Shop Thermal Robe: Every man needs a great robe and this a fantastic quality at a great price.  This robe is lightweight but warm and one of Bryan’s favorite purchases. I would highly recommend for any man you might be shopping for this year.
11. Vance Mixing Glass: Every martini and Vesper drinker should have this in their bar collection.  This is the perfect way to make a Vesper without ‘bruising your gin’ as I’ve learned you do not want to do.  This looks gorgeous on a bar top and is a great gift!
12. Apple Watch Series 4: This is the most expensive gift on the list but a fantastic one at that. I have the 3 series watch and absolutely love it.  I wear mine everyday and I know any man in your life would be thrilled to receive this.
13. MAGLITE 2D LED Flashlight: What man doesn’t need a flashlight.  This a perfect stocking stuffer and something any man will actually use.  Don’t underestimate the practical gift!
14. Fire Hose Flannel-Lined Limber Jac: I think this is such a cool jacket and so many men would love this.  Great for anything outdoors or to wear as a casual layer.
