Home: things I’m loving

It’s been a minute, like almost 9 months since anything new has appeared on my blog.  But here we are, living through a global pandemic, all trying to figure out our new normal. Since we are all spending so much time at home, I thought I’d share some of my favorite home items that I’ve been loving over the last several months.

First up is my newest purchase, and maybe my favorite.  These beautiful dispensers come from the sweetest little Etsy shop called The Polished Jar.  These gorgeous jars are completely customizable, everything from the material, color of the jar and the pump. I highly recommend checking out her shop! So many adorable items. I also picked up the cute little concrete tray for them to sit in.

These are perfect and look so much nicer than a plastic dish soap bottle sitting out.  I plan on getting a few for the showers in our home!

Also in the kitchen is one of the best purchases I’ve made this year.  This Ruggable rug, in Sima Sage is perfect by the stove as the rug is completely washable in your washing machine.  We’ve had this rug since the beginning of the year, we’ve washed it multiple times and it still looks great.  This is perfect for high traffic areas and the rug pad makes it non-slip!

My last kitchen pick gets my organization heart a flutter.  These spice jar containers and labels are genius.  We have a pull out spice rack and needed a way to organize the spices and still be able to see what was there.  These labels can be placed on the front of the jar or on top of the lid like I did to easily identify your spices.  By they way, we do actually use all these, thanks to Bryan 🙂

Moving into home decor, a few items I always like to buy and swap out are vases and throw pillow covers.  These are such an easy thing to change out with the seasons and can really spruce up a space.  I like to move the vases and stems around the house to mix things up.  Grouping a few differing sizes and colors together looks so pretty on a console or tucked in a corner.  Throw pillows are also a great way to change up decor in a room. Here are a few of my favorites.

Crate & Barrel Vases

Art is one of those things that make a home, but I still am never sure what goes with what, and it can be really expensive.  One of my favorite places to find beautiful prints is Juniper Print Shop.  I stumbled across Jennie’s Instagram page @junpierprintshop, a few years ago and love how many beautiful options she has.  You can buy digital downloads and print them yourself or you can order actual prints that she ships.  The shop even does beautiful oversized art at an extremely affordable price point.  We spruced up one of our guest bedrooms and I found a few pieces I love.  I did the digital download and had them printed via Prime Photos on amazon.

Aspens & Hollyhocks
Dash I and Dash II

Last up for home items I’ve been loving is my new Eufy robovaccum.  This little robo vacuum is amazing and really does clean.  You have the ability to program him to run nightly or you can manualy start with a remote.  It has great suction, is super quiet for a vacuum and runs for about 90 minutes before finding it’s way back to the charger.  We have stairs that I was worried it would fall down, but there are sensors that detect a drop and the little vacuum just backs up and carries on it’s way.  This has been so nice to run at night time and wake up with clean floors! This was a great price point and I believe it’s still on sale on Amazon!

Thanks for reading along and taking a peek at all my favorite home buys.  I hope everyone is looking forward to the new fall season, time to start busting out the pumpkins!
